Anyone worked/work for Bookers/Londis on Class 2?
Any reviews good or bad?
Mate of mine does some Class 2 work for them he is on £10.91 an hour with plenty of overtime if he wants it. He goes to some really crap places though.
Been there a few times the trucks are alright , pay isnt too bad but as mentioned above the drops are bad and the shops are normally where you have to take cages in through the front etc. Personally I wouldent drive there again
Which bookers are you looking at?
South Elmsall. I have only had class 2 since September last year and I am only looking for one day a week, so beggars can’t be choosers and all that.
Had driving assessment and all that and seems okay so shall see what happens.
I found working for booker as a driver was hard work, which is probably why they have a high turnover of driving staff even though the wages are very good, alot of handball and incorrectly picked orders from picking staff and the resulting whinge from the customers at the other end, then sorting it out at the depot when u get back!!! But it’s a job for as long as u can handle it and it is good money!
