you beat me too it, i noticed the sign last week, wonder if theyll have a closing, moving sale , m3, s for 10,000 
that site has been up for sale a while now,bmw i think are relocating to killinghome,where the cars come in off the boat.
it has been planned for a while to get rid of thorne run straight off the boat, all being run from northampton aswell now. i know there trying to cut running cost with losing all their contracts and no cars moving.
They will be using thorne as a prep centre rather than distribution,for used cars only,all new ones will go direct from docks at immingham,like steve said,but there,s thousands of them stored all over,at stallingboro and k.sandal,most of the trunks have finished,grimsby,immingham depots have shut,all the wagons are now at doncaster,but i think there ,ll be more jobs lost,the job will be tramping,go where the work is,hard times ahead,
