BMW on bricks in lay by A1 s/b Peterbrough

Anyone else seen this on their way past this morning? Wonder what the story behind it is. Had a slight chuckle to myself as it’s not somthing you would expect to see on the A1, more like the housing estates of our country where you see more prams than cars, pit bulls dragging the local " hard case" around and where there’s that many windows boarded up the window cleaner uses a sander

Maybe someone got stopped by the old bill for no insurance or something and they got some mates to come and brick it before a recovery truck came out?

Actually I think I noticed what looked like one of those " Police aware" stickers on the back window.

Wouldn’t surprise me if that’s what’s happened then

It’s been there for weeks on end tbh. Obviously on wheels though, I first noticed it when travelling south as the position it’s in makes you think it’s about to pull out of the layby. Being a Beemer you expect that to happen with no indicators either!

BMW on bricks?

Has Drift been round there lately?

That’s not very nice!

This has just reminded me. Back in the 60s and 70s , you would regularly see a car in a lay by at the side of the A1 and when you past it on the way back next day, it would be completely stripped to a bare shell !!
Regards. John.

Its ok Tango, Drift will forgive me.

He is a Christian. He understands people from Warrington are ’ challenged ', he works here!

Shouldn’t the title be “BMW on charlies”? Out of interest, were the Charlie’s upside down, and what sort of frogs were they?

There seems to be a lot of ’ brick ’ talk on here lately.

I suppose it’s been building for a while.

Where are the foundations of this

Funny you should mention this, does anyone have the owners details, I have some BMW wheels to sell

Hmmnn… Mortar this than meets the eye.

I even have the locking nuts

I have some spare cash knocking about Drift,( from my begging at Blackpool ).

Lets cement the deal.

It’s just another brick in the wall
