What makes you think I cant afford one? I was looking at Audi S4’s (4.2 V8 version) before deciding to put my money to better use and get my truck licence. Have seen new BMW 118’s on show in Durham for less than £300 a month, I can afford that I just think BMW’s are mostly driven by self centered egomanics with no clue about cars and just buy one coz its a BMW, bit like iphone owners, buy it coz of the name.
Audi and Mercedes on the other hand are the cars dreams are made of and the new Jaguars give me a chubby on.
Radar19, I had a nose around a 740 not long back, some decent kit in it but the interior didn’t look much different to the majority of other cars on the road, 20+ years ago BMW’s were something special, now they’re just mass produced soul less vehicles like most other cars.
P.S I’m guessing Raymondo drives a BMW, tend to find people that own them get VERY upset when you insult a BMW. That includes a mate of mine LOL

Funny thing as well. I was just talking to a friend yesterday about getting a diesel bmw. Only an old one tho.
If it’s old like 1990 3 series old then yeah they look good. Know a lad that had one with an M5 engine in was fairly good fun.
I want my old 1988 ford Orion diesel back. No dual mass clutch, no expensive fuel pump or injectors and no dpf.
My current Peugeot probably has a smoother clutch, more efficient engine and is better for the environment but the technology can drive you nuts. Rant over peace out.
I want this back, sad thing is I think it got turned into a stockrod and got destroyed although I cant confirm that
1.6 16v engine conversion
Wossner .5mm overbore pistons steel H beam rods
2.0 litre brake conversion
Aftermarket Suspension
GSi interior
Euro rear lights
Ported & polished head and bigger cam was on the cards
Fell out with the lad where I stored it so had to sell it

Got a 2000 530d parked up just outside of Ipswich that hasn’t moved since getting moted last August that I no longer have any use for. Owned it for 8 years.
