common misconception, a blue badge does not give anyone the right to park where they like, or how they like.
If the vehicle is parked in such a way that it causes an obstruction, IT CAN be towed, without notice.
It states this clearly on the badge. I know because i used to have one.
Being slightly physically challenged myself, i have had to over come such problems, but have never parked in such a way.
Very true. I once got this once “Officer i have a blue badge” it seems to make people think they can park anywhere they want. A gent once parked blocking half the road off and his words were whilst sitting in the car waiting for his kid to come out of school " I am a blue badge holder" and my reply was “Only works when you are actually out of the vehicle”.

A lot of the able bodied people with them have got them to provide transport to a disabled relative, the rest are on the fiddle.
Neither on the fiddle or qualified as a disability. I drive a motability car, not mine, I drive a blue badge holder who has the car in her name, she can walk, talk, and tell jokes, just like anyone. She has a degenerative illness that we both would swap tomorrow, in the 8 years that I have known her, she has lost 7 inches in height.

believe me been thinking about for ages, but seeing as i now able to walk 40ft unaided the DLA somehow feel I’m no longer disabled
That is totally ridicules & you should appeal against that as there are people that are better off than you & have them

yeah i’ve already gone through that, which is where i was told, because i can walk 40ft i no longer needed or could be considered in need of motability! my reply was a simple one, “and if i remove my leg, do i qualify then?”
to which they said no, as i can easily replace itI’ll give it another year or so, then re-apply
