I’m not some sort of biking lunatic cycling around Newcastle , the Tyneside one that is, ranting at drivers for daring to be on my road. I am adamant though that I should be able to ride around safely. Do you honestly think its ok for a driver to kill a cyclist then say sorry I didn’t see them and get a fine & community service? Yet go near a dog and suddenly you are right up there with peadophiles & Sunderland supporters.
the fact is,that in this instance,the cyclist made no attempt to avoid a collision.his attitude was…my cycle path,my right of way,you shouldnt be there so dont blame me if you or your dog get injured.
its a good job i dont have the same attitude when a cyclist tries squeezing up the inside when i`m turning left.

Helmet cameras are just like the road hawk system commonly used by motorists and CCTV that is used by shopkeepers, they give you good evidence in the event of an accident/injury etc

Hello madguy, I think if you read back your posts you brought up the point about crass attitudes being passed on to my kids, I just pointed out how correct you were by letting you know they followed me into the Army. I used to be a keen cyclist when I was younger and slimmer and have just recently started cycling again in an attempt to be slimmer and it’s a case of there are good and bad cyclists just the same as there are good and bad lorry drivers.
