Scary!
His mirrors are set up to far in so not suprised he cant see anyone. 9 times out of 10 if your mirrors are set up properly and you have kerb mirror and a front mounted mirror you can see most things, but sometimes only just. I’ve got a truckview lense and wouldnt be without now, very handy and mite just save someones life one day.
Why set the w/a mirror with half it’s view taken up by the cab?
Not for a moment underestimating the importance of awareness of cyclists, but this is obviously a staged video with the cab angled towards the nearside - hence the lack of vision in the mirror. That’s not the norm when approaching a junction.
Correct me if I’m wrong but this video was posted last week and Sam commented on it.
