Blind Drivers.

I asked an optician what he’d have to do to have someone’s licence removed who he considers is unfit to drive because of eyesite problems the other day and his answer astounded me, he first has to refer the offending person to a consultant physician (eye specialist - top bod) at the local hospital. This bod then recommends to DVLA that the person is unfit to drive after examining him. The whole charade takes between 3-6 months to get someone off the road from start to finish - in which time they can quite legally drive. The only reason I asked him was because of a numpty on the A14 the other day. They’d a lane coned off with one of those pigging great flashing signs telling you to keep right. The dipstick nearly ran into the back of it :unamused: - even when I’d flashed him twice to come on into my lane. He’d put his hand up twice as well in a thanks but no thanks gesture. Either he’s stupid or blind as a bat :unamused: .

Either he’s stupid or blind as a bat

or maybe he’s both

Here in Grimsby, we have a van with the words “Caution- Blind man driving”, written on the back, operated by a sunblind shop.
It was featured, in picture, in the Daily Mail some months back.
