Anyone getting any Black Friday deals? I got a stand mixer, but that wasn’t a Black Friday deal though. I was going to get the Preston-Carlisle WCML route on TSW 6 but it’s not discounted enough for me. I did get a dozen or so tomato & cucumber varieties I haven’t grown before for a fraction of the price in the seed sale. 
I could do wi another greenhouse. 
I did upgrade my frige via ebay, again not Black Friday related.
The old one did work but seemed to have a thermostat that worked to an accuracy of about 6 degrees C, so would be warm or freezing the fridge as often as it would be right.
Used and a couple of years old, I’m too tight to buy a ‘fancy’ brand at full price, and had to google to find out how to pronounce Miele….
It did take what felt like half a day cleaning and drying it out even though the seller had cleaned it up, as it had been flat in the van needed to stand for a day anyhow.
Cost £140, so not a complete steal but a price I am happy with.

I’m well brassed off with b loody Black Friday. Does anybody know when it actually is ?
10% or 20% of the price of new? With 90% life still in it? Bargain.
Black Friday date? About 6 weeks before the January sales.

Think black Friday is Fri before thanks giving in America
Well Friday before. It’s basically an American thing based around thanks giving holidays.
A bit like our boxing day sales we used to get.
But now it’s just a marketing thing.to get us buying more rubbish we don’t need.
And experts and which and other consumers have looked into it and your not really getting a bargain. If you buy weeks before price is cheap . Then they shove prcies up for a few weeks then advertise huge price cuts black Friday.
More less taking prices back to before they put them up. And it’s all legal
An item only has to be priced at an amount for about a week then they can discount it saying sales on price before was £100 now £50.
Only has be on sale at £100 for about a week
