Bit of advice ta folks

just got the class C passed, and only 7 months experience driving (though admittedly a huge variety of vehicles).

My aim is to get onto European work ASAP and wondered which types of firms will be best to pursue to build experience to take to long-haul firms, or if indeed any firms take on relatively inexperienced drivers for Euro workj.

Oh, and how much will personal driving experience in the EU be taken into consideration during interview for such roles, to show not completely wet behind the ears (always found in the thousands of miles I’ve done in Germany, Holland etc etc that it takes about 2 seconds and 2 yards to flip the mental switch to driving on the right).

ta fellas and ladies!

I think you may find holding only a rigid licence is your biggest barrier to finding European work.

depends wher eyou are in berkshire pulleyns have rigids doing euro

Try some of the household removal companies in your area.Usually always rigid vehicles, some times with a close coupled or drawbar trailer.
Not a bad way to start getting experience if you dont mind hard work!!

Cheers, bullitt.
