i was told that they are laying drivers off the other week at their Oldbury depot, so, if you are thinking of applying for a job, i would leave it for a while

You can see into the yard from the M5 . There are a hell of a lot of trailers AND units parked up which would confirm what Shuttle said . 
And the ones that are on the road are too fast to catch!!

That’s true, I spoke to a driver two weeks ago who told me the exact same thing.
changes week to week, i asked one week, yes were taking on, asked 2 weeks later, no mate were laying off.
