hiya,
Well have driven an F86 "bubble"must have been a fat git, no room in the cab, the ERF had enough room to hang my coat up and unlike the “bubble” it never let me down and the model shown had enough heater for me, i likened the 86 to the Scania 80 another horror of mine although the 80 did have a far superior cab, now offer me later Volvo’s and Scania’s and your talking.

Hiya al hows things■■? you must have some photo,s for us to see now the 86 and one 88 i haven,t seen
John

yes, i was lucky enough to go with my dad in his L reg F86.Running whisky in tanks and barrels all over Scotland with Chivas Brothers now owned by Pernod Ricard.Even remember the reg L46LHS.Wish i d been old enough back then to have driven them.

hiya,
Only ever rated the 86 as suitable for making a six wheeled rigid out of i drove them as artics running at 32 tons gross and ranked them alongside the Scania 80 very poor.
thanks harry long retired.

The 86 was warm quiet and was more like a car to drive,Think back eh.vic
