Can save a fair old chunk by using A12 to blackwall A13 west then after 100m left into Cotton st to end billingsgate opposite side to roundabout

Google maps makes both ways exactly the same distance.

In fairness at that time of day there’s nothing in it but much later A12 every time
Used to run into Billingsgate some 30 odd years ago…kip in the bunks while they unloaded…brew and a bun…Doubt I could find it now…not that I need or want too

Was it the old one in lower themes st or the new one on the isle of dogs Next to what is now Canary Wharf when you went to 30 odd years ago
