Big haulage firm in Motril

Cant remember their name, maybe wbis, vaso,or hombre may know, they are or were based near the port, fridge firm, that used to employ german drivers. On a different subject, not heard from vasoingles for a while, what is he up to lately?Have you lads, ever gone to Calahonda, near Motril, lovely old fashioned fishing village, cafes on the beach, not many tourists go there in the summer months.A very loud cannon goes off at midday,to alert the cooking of fresh sardines,in one of the hotels,if you are not expecting it,it can give you a myacardial infarction. No health and safety rules in Spain.

do you mean COMOTRANS toby? COoperativa MOtril TRANSportes
i think you are on comission from somebody in calahonda, you advertise it more than the andalucia tourist board

Thats the one,Calahonda means deep bay in English,a rather quaint and old world place to relax in.The drummer for Genisis used to rent out his cottage,in the mountains near Olviga, you turn off by the big dam,on the Granada road,he is an author now,and wrote Driving over lemons, and a Parrot in a pepper tree, about life in Spain,he is Chris Stewart, they have a farm, which is cut off by a river, that swells up in the winter,so they leave a vehicle on both sides of the river,to access the main road, and get their daughter Chloe to school.
The area he lives in, is very dramatic and unique,a valley, with flora and flora, but hard to get to down a steep and pot holed dirt track, they are very lucky, and live off the land, with sheep, and their own power supply, and water system,if you can read Driving over lemons,it is very funny.
