To be honest I havent noticed but is it the one that goes up and down like a whores undercrackers due to pressurization I think. (We have google experts who can explain this in more depth).
Im gonna miss it if its gone completeley, always was a sign that I was almost home.
Yes that’s the one, but it’s defo gone not just low on pressure. I just never noticed any demolition on it. And I use that as a nearly home marker too

Seems like they are nearly all being demolished since there is no use for them any more, but interestingly or not the iconic gasometer near The Oval Cricket ground has been given listed status.
