Waitrose rolls out invisible milk tags in supermarket first | The Grocer Waitrose rolls out invisible milk tags in supermarket first | The Grocer

Basically Waitrose are putting minute trackers on every pint of milk sold. They will then collect the data and see how much of it’s sent to recycling centres. Or landfill tracking the milk bottle see where it ends up.

Where o where will all this obsession with ai tracking and data collection etc end.

Overpaid and underworked middle managers come out with this sort of cr4p in a desperate attempt to justify their overblown wages. A hundred years ago we’d have laughed at them and beaten them with sticks. Nowadays we actually give them some credence

Trackers won’t work if they have a session of a few seconds in the microwave…

Milk cartons now, clothes in a few years - clothes which cannot be paid for with cash.

There is nowhere to hide.

Especially so in this industry.

Nah I still do…..and to their faces. and they hate it, It’s caused me no end of ag over the years……but I’m still laughing.:joy:

Again I don’t it just encourages them if you appear to take them seriously..:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

To many people around these days in a jobs that doesn’t exist anymore. Especially in middle management. as the world becomes ever more digital.
And rather than make redundices/ pension them off they find them something to do.

^^^ if Covid taught us anything it is that whole rafts of middle management are completely superfluous. Most were furloughed and companies carried on perfectly well without their presence and input.

I save all mine, and they’re full of comfrey liquid fertiliser for my tomatoes. It absolutely stinks, but plants love it, black gold.
