Ahh you’ve met him then
I’ve only ever seen 1 unit with a bike it’s a yellow XF , I wouldn’t mind doing it for summer either , I pull 45ft high cubes 99% of the time with a R420 don’t know if there would be enough room to fit one

See this old thread…viewtopic.php?f=2&t=62813
Could you not just strap it into the spare wheel carriage on the trailer?
I have seen a few strapped to the back of the unit, good idea…if you like riding back from the pub drunk
My boss wont even let me stick my truck washing brush behind the headboard as he thinks it will look like a pickey wagon, so I have to hide it in the yard
The engineers will nick it if they find it
When my truck goes to Scania for service or checks I put my car on the back as its on the way home
Some of our guys carry a bike on the back of the cab, I have thought about it but as most of my nights are spent in the Bronx I don’t fancy cycling anywhere

I would mate but I go through about 20+ different trailers a week
I used to rest the wheels on the catwalk and use a ratchet strap to secure it to whatever you can find. Probably best not to take your “best” bike as I found the vibration of the cab against the handlebars - or whatever other bits were resting against the cab - would cause minor cosmetic damage.
I took a hack bike with me everywhere I went when I was tramping. Ideal for getting into towns, going to the pub or just going out for a ride on a pleasant evening.
It is ok to stow in the passenger well of the cab by taking off one of the wheels.Or have the frame on the bunk.On a curtain trailer, just put it inside the trailer with a good lock.
just stick it in the back of the trailer
