Bumped into a lad a used to work with around Xmas time. He was working for BIbbys out of Fev. Think it was on the DS Smith packaging job?
He seemed happy enough with them. He was on 4 on 4 off with them. Said they near enough max you out on your 4 days, so he’d still get hours in before having the 4 off.
I’m on nights now so want back onto days. If they pay for the maxed hours I’m fine for 4 days.
Have to ask them how the pay works - then can gauge how much actually be getting to see if worth it

Normally on 4 on 4 off it’s salary so you get the same amount each week/month as some weeks you’ll do 3 days and some 5,saves HR dept having to work everyone’s wages individually.

Had initial chat with HR and according to them they’re busy (at moment ) so said def will be 4 days and if I want can do another depending on hours.
If they max out those 4 days won’t have hours left - or the will power [emoji6] - for another day!
Got interview mid week so I’ll be seeing what they come out with. Sometimes their trucks come into our place so with luck will get to ask driver what he thinks
I meant if it’s a rolling 4 on 4 off shift pattern then by that some weeks you’ll only work 3 days say if your days off fell Mon/Tues/Weds/Thurs that leaves only Friday/Sat/Sun that week working (3 days),then Monday the week after following the Sunday.
