M57 :grimacing:

It’s not clear where your coming from or what time you expect to hit the Liverpool area, but personnelly I’d run M62, M57 & possibly A580. Alternative could be the Mersey tunnel if coming up the M6

comming up through Chester, use to go via tunnel but now its Runcorn,be around 7am ish.

Either really but if I’m going in on the A561 I usually turn down Jericho lane on to riverside drive

Your visiting the delights of my home town, poor bugger
I would skip Liverpool and go via the M57 and switch island then dunningsbridge Road, it’s a bit better now the roundabout at Seaforth is cut in half.

Make sure you lock all your doors when you get there.

Just saying.

Example of the local low life

Lee Gilmore, 33, of Sidney Powell Avenue, Liverpool, was jailed for four years and eight months, Jeffrey Hamid, 31 of Hargate Road, Liverpool, for four years and six months and John Dahl, 44, of Aysgarth Avenue, Liverpool to four years and eight months.

The link dint work but I guess it’s Liverpool bashing?
Can’t find any other city with issues, it’s great being unique :unamused:

Must be boss living in some woolfest where your biggest fear is sheep rustling.

I’ve been over here for 4 years now and I wouldn’t say it’s any worse than other major cities in this crap hole of a country, everywhere has there problems , I certainly don’t have a problem living here

personally I love Merseyside - in general!!! (read on) Everyone I have ever spoke to have been polite, courteous and usually some type of comedian - most are comedians in my experience. I love going there.

There are the odd occasions though when you do get to meet the local idiot - but that can be in EVERY and ANY County or anywhere in the World!!

Generally Merseyside is spot on.

Remember ALL Cities have dodgy park up areas and avoid accordingly, also remember that Mike C could pop up at any time

Best route from Runcorn Bridge is come over bridge and take first exit, after the ones for Widnes, which leads onto M57, follow that until East Lancs exit (A580) and follow signs for docks. This will bring you down Millers Bridge onto Dock Road. Do a left and drive up five mins and Nortons is on your left.

Always amazes me whenever Liverpool comes up, everybody dives in with the cliched nonsense about robbers and accents etc etc zzzz, when all of us are drivers, and have seen most of the rest of the country…and as for that ■■■■ from Ramsbottom, are you serious? what a god-forsaken place. Statistically, Liverpool is about 40th in the list of worst cities for crime in the UK. Bury, Rochdale and Bolton are all worse.

Pretty much my experience of going there. nice place, nice people. Although when I first started driving I was told not to park over night there so never did, but realistically I’m sure it’s no worse than any other large city.

Liverpool is one of those types of places that produces ’ interesting ’ characters.

The lads have faces only a Mother could love. Evenin’ Drifty.

Even my mum left in 1972 honestly

PMSL! Fed with a catapult from birth.

Do you know the Iceland store around there? Netherton I think. Really dodgy reverse to the back door.

Marion square? I used to hang around there as a kid, nicking bread trollies from behind the shops … Bugger, a scouser nicking stuff oops
