Best tyre for nearside 3rd axle on a bulk tipping trailer

Bandag

Barum’s run around 130psi always did very well with us, we did a lot of tight turning too

Not badly priced either, don’t quote me on this as i’m not sure but i think they are made by continental maybe someone can verify this?

I have just put one of the new Hankook RTH22 “remix” tyres on there now, its a new bead to bead remould that Hankook have just brought out, so I will see how it copes, price was £220, so watch this space in 6 months!! :grimacing:

Used a lot of GT 876 over the last few years on the n/s rear lasting from 6 to 11 months on local tipper work at £ 266 a tyre ,they are great value compared to about £500 for a Michy xzy3, that last no better. Chinese yes but they work.Hot summers hammer 385s tyres fitted from sept onwards always last longer than a full summer fit.

They are! Lucky for us, tyre wear/mileage is not great on our job, so we can indulge ourselves a little
