what do you reckon best truck is
the new mercedes
the new man
or scania
at moment i have 26 ton long wheel base scania , but getting new truck in september
i fancy the merc as its a full size unit and the man is too

i love the scania but not much room in cab, so really fancy the merc have,nt been in the new man don,t think man is better than the merc, 2 things i don,t like about the scania is the front end is low and exhaust brake is not seperate its on brake pedal when your going down hill in snow and ice you need seperate ex brake the trucks im on about are 26 ton rigids
get a straight beam front axle and scania retarder.ive got a 26 tonne tipper with a retarder and its 9 years old 800,000kms and still on original drums

i,ve had a hino tipper before it was a lovely truck
out of those 3, and if its a 26 tonne rigid you’re getting, Scania G cab, either the long day cab or sleeper would be a good bet. But the Mercedes Antos , when it comes out certainly looks the business.
