Firstly sorry if been asked or done to death already, but was just wondering what peoples opinions were on the best, most successful time of day for a test. cheers for any replies
4am
seriously it should make no difference unless you are saying that post test you can only drive at certain times of the day !
4am that’d be nice haa ha!
Was manly thinking when people thought most hazards were present rush hour, loony cyclists etc, did that make you more alert maybe?
But certainly agree that whatever time you test you’ll come across the same issues regardless!
I guess post test you’d drive most times of the day given the hours you can work unless on night work or odd starts?
Mine was at 8.45am which I found to be a good time. No waiting round to go in being nervous. Rush hr traffic had just cleared but still early enough to miss the mummys taking their kids out for the day. It was also raining which helped keep the dreaded cyclists off the road.
Mine was during the school run, 20 minutes of the test were taken up inching forwards in a line of traffic so a test when it’s busy is not all bad.
I do see the good points of heavy slow moving traffic
think my car test(s) were early morning just out of rush hour times so probably nothing to fret about really! just avoid cyclists if possible I guess as two got done over by them on here this week unfortunately. coming from the Milton Keynes area it’s pretty frustrating when there’s the redways for them to use but they still ride on the road
12pm to 3pm on 24th of December.
The roads are packed and you won’t go very far due to the examiner wanting to get home!!
When its busy. Have to go slower then.
