I take it you usually refuse the en-suite bathroom option.

Cerntainly not, But come on you cant compare the two can you, Well I don’t , The hotels I stay in have a En Suite bathroom are very spacious, In fact there is room to park one one of these said motors in, Regards Larry.

By heck, you do live well in your old age Larry. Do they serve Stotty Cakes and a Pint or three of Exibition with the Roast Pheasant.

Evening all, Larry, Ive had, (over many years), the fill of so called 5 stars, Sheratons, that over rated George Cinq, in Paris, (where better food was obtainable in a cafe three blocks down)! 5 star equals…parting mugs from their cash, not giving service!!

Archie would probably have more “in depth” knowledge, but I suspect the poor B…s working as semi slaves in the kitchens would have the same skills as those in a much lower rated hotel!!!

No, even now I stick to more modest establishments, where you are attended by real people, who are a delight to be a guest of!! (My English…as ever…is not good)

Larry, if you can enjoy the drive, go down to Port Merion by Porthmadoc, Clough William Elliss creation, , in Gods Wales, now there is a hotel to enjoy, it has no equal in my experience…and the Bar Man is not phased by a request for a Laphroig, or Tullamore, or even a Blackbush…the nectar of the Gods!..Truly Irelands Whiskys beat those of the Scotts every time!!

And you could have a chrystal of Bollinger on your way down!!

Cheerio for now.

Hullo M. Saviem,
You are quite right in your assumption, I was one of those poor B…'s working as a full time Slave. Having served your time in the trade, you work wherever there is a job. As you say or infer, a Hotel serving on it’s Menu, Wiener Schnitzel a la Holstein, avec Pommes Paille, Choux Fleur au Gratin et Petit Pois. would be not so very different as a lower class Cafe down the road, selling Breaded Veal Cutlet with Egg, Chips, Cauliflower and Peas. The same meal, less of course a couple of Anchovy Fillets. The first a lot more expensive, but in many cases not so good as the later. It all rests upon how good or how bad the Slave is.
