Best sat nav with low bridge warning

can any one tell me the best sat nav i can buy which has low bridge warning on it ? thanks kev .

shop.instant-shop.com/Snooperdir … 00186.html

the snooper will only give you a 500 yard warning

save some money go for a tomtom ine or navman or even a garmin nuvi, the go to www.willow-house.org and down load the bridges for free or failing that got to low bridges.com spend a tennner

note no device currently (including the snooper) will atuo reroute you round a poi it will only warn you its there
tomtom navman & garim are customizable for distance warnings the snooper from memory will only warn at 500 yards

I use the Willow house Bridges on my tom tom.

It’s really useful when planing the route as you can check the tom tom map and see the heights of bridges on-route. The tom tom will also allow you to set what distance you want to be warned at when approaching a low bridge and will play a warning sound.

Not all bridges are on the Willow site but it is pretty comprehensive, I found one on the A312 in Harrow not covered but as I plan carefully I always check my Hard copy maps as well just to be sure so knew it was there.

Nothing worse than approaching a low one with nowhere to go. The 14ft bridge on the A36 north of Salisbury being a typical example of this…ugh. Funny thing is about 100ft from the bridge it tells you to turn around, well anything larger than a 7.5t and your not turning around anywhere!
