Best Sat-Nav for trucks?

Hello
Just doing some research into what Sat-Nav people use whilst driving (if you do),
aiming to find out which ones are easier to use for whatever reason while on the road, specific for truck drivers

So any opinions about them will be hopeful, as I am to design something that incorporates sat-nav as my final year design project.

Any questions just ask

Thanks

There isn’t one specifically for trucks although there are bridge height files available for Tom Tom and Navman units. Check this site for more details on Sat Nav. www.pocketgps.co.uk

Thanks for the link, think have seen some mention before to do with other sat nav topics…

… Although I am hoping that people could give their personal views on the ones that they use, if there any difficulty being in a truck with screen size or amount of detail and thoughts about its use, between purely touch screen and physical buttons?? Points like that.

gav what type reserch are you doing

are you work for navigatiom company

are you working for a polling team

or do you work for the media

None of them, im a student at Sheffield Hallam Uni, and am looking at incorporating sat-nav into my current project.

But am looking at whether to navigate its use with physical buttons such as the Navman ICN 320 pocketgps.co.uk/navman-pressday-2005.php
or the use of touchscreens as seen in the Tom Tom Go. pocketgps.co.uk/tomtom-go.php
and wondering if either have affect whilst driving and there ease of use.

Hope this explains a little more.
