Best route Ellesmere Port to seaforth docks Liverpool

Alright guys
Can anyone confirm best route from Ellesmere Port to seaforth docks with loaded ADR tanker as back to lymm, pick up m6 onto m58 then a565 down to docks ?

Not from the area so any corrections to above much appreciated

Thanks in advance

I’d go over the Runcorn bridge depending what time of day (horrendous during rush hour) then either through Speke (A562, A 561) along the waterfront and up derby road or take Knowsley expressway (A5300) onto the M57 to switch island then follow signs to the docks

M53 through the mersey tunnel then from Scotland Road a59 turn left down boundary Street (keep left on Scotland Road then first left at traffic light Junction) then follow to Derby road and that’s the a565 and will take you to first the strand Road dock entrance and further on to the Seaforth dock entrance, strand Road is easy to miss but don’t worry as you can’t miss the Seaforth entrance off the first roundabout you come too.

If you are committed g in via the m58 head for dunningsbridge Road a5036 from Switch island (end of m58 and m57) just follow your nose all the way down then over a flyover you will see Road works on a roundabout take the third exit , you will see Seaforth Docks entrance at the next roundabout.

Drift, he said he’s pulling a loaded ADR tanker, if he goes through the tunnel he’ll have to stop and declare it and might need to be escorted through

Haz load? Forget the tunnel. Go M53/M56 come off at Runcorn, follow to Runcorn Bridge. Cross and keep right so you don’t filter off into Widnes. Carry on until next junction A5300 and follow that onto the M57 and then all the way into Seaforth following signs for docks. Roadworks at end of M57, so if you have a schedule get down there before the fun starts.

Is there still a ferry across the mersey■■?

Sorry Roy.

You should get out more Tango.

Ahaaaaa cheers Roy, my bad

Yeah, but that copper bird (if she’s on shift) is fit as ■■■■, I used to go through several times per week :grimacing:
