Ok gents which is the best pub you ever “caught” on a night out
Best one I ever done was in Diss
Was asked(because I was a stranger) to judge a wet T shirt competition.
Wonderful.

I was a Diss boy and have never heard of wet T shirt compettitons in the town before!
Ive hit a few in my time,
The landlord of 1 establishment still makes me smile, the pub had a huge car park, so I went in and asked if I could park up at the bottom end out of the way
“Will you be having a drink in here Driver” as he is pulling a pint,
“yeh, 1 or 2 to wash my tea down”
as he hands me said pint “well I cant let you carry on driving after having a pint so you best get parked up and I will see you soon”
A true gentleman.

I had a night out in great yarmouth once, there was a old woman in who had just won some money on the lottery,it was free drinks for everyone all night and she was walking round with a tray of caviar on toast soldiers for everybody, overlayed next days by hours and have never been as rough in my life, good job it was a thursday night and i only had a run home on the friday, long long day
When I did my old Guildford run on a 7.5 I used to occasionally do a drop at a pub in Bagshot, I’d originally stayed at the Premier Inn in Farnborough or Aldershot if that was booked up. I hate the pubs attached to Premier Inns, they’re not real pubs, just facsimiles for eating in. So I started nailing up all my drops on day 1 of my 2 dayer, then boot it to the Premier Inn at Bagshot. Spend my meal/drinks allowance on a big steak, then go down to the place I used to deliver to.
Proper pub, with dead friendly locals.
Was nothing to do with the barmaid in there that used to take in the deliveries early doors, do me a brew etc. Was nothing at all to do with the size of her chest, or the fact that she never saw any need to button up her blouse properly before the place opened to the public.
Jesus they were massive.
I did try my luck but she wasn’t having any of it.
Still I made a load of mates down there, keep in touch, and when I do a night out down South, I try and get back there whenever possible.
My sister when younger always thought a free house meant free drinks
You know the biggest killer was she would get away with it
who say’s women are stupid
