sorry if its been done before, i know the MSA have been done before but i was thinking about all the rest,the little diners,the roadside butty vans,the private truck-stops,which are the best and which ones need to be given a wide berth.
I ask because i visited the cafe at jnc 1 A14 yesterday and for scrammbled egg on 2 toast with 2 rashers of bacon and 2 sausages and a cuppa was charged £7.20, which i thought was a rip off,(not going there again).
the best priced place for a breakfast has got to be at Andys place at haggerston castle,£4.50 and there is that much on your plate ,you dont need anything to eat for the rest of the day
3 bacon,sausage,lorne sausage,black pudd,haggis,potato scone mushrooms,fried slice,beans tomatoes egg,bread roll and a cuppa for £4.50
The stockyard is a good truckstop not to dear foods good showers good nice bar area etc and plenty of parking.
Truck haven on the m6 is good too.
