Nobody learns to drive in a manual lorry anymore, and even less actually buy a manual lorry… more to the point, no one learns to drive a class 2 anymore, as why would they!?
Anyway, best of luck, I hear they’re considering the criminally insane drive hgvs to mitigate the new “driver shortage”, be sure to send them your way….

My comment stands on both fronts! My other half has been a Fiat 500 nut for well over a decade… when she went to order her most recent one, they said she could only have an auto, as manuals had been phased out!
Ended up getting some blinged up special edition Abarth thing, and they said it would be discontinued when the last box came off the shelf.
The youth of today see a stick poking out the middle, and assume it’s content for their onlyfans account….

Gearstick is a thing of the past. More and more youngsters are taking automatic lessons
Maybe explains why driving standards have dropped just 2 pedals stop and go nothing to think about.
But yeah with electric cars becoming the norm slowly geared cars are disappearing.
