hey, it depends of your choise of course.
Daf’s DO and the Jukebox looked very futuristic. I can’t enumerate there to much but would go for ever with this pic 1. The last years I would go for MAN’s looking.

Eric,
This… It’s not quite what it appears to be, it’s a Spanish TMU which is a combination of Leyland Buffalo, Mack and local bits and the cab can be a local variation on the Scammell Highwayman cab.
Or either of these 2;
ERF KV (kleer- vue ?) beautiful lines , classic '50’s design have’nt got a photo I’m sure someone has.

Yer all blind. This is as close as it gets to a ten:Imagine living in those flats, and your boss turned up and said, “This is your new job- drive that all over Europe.” I would do just what I was told. At the end of every shift, I would wash it, then set up a folding chair, just so I could look at it.
That cab looked much better on a Ford Transcon chassis!
Pfffffttt! Ford gave it a spare tyre of flab around its midriff. The Transcon needs a kind photograph, to make it look as good as the original. IMO, of course!
hey Anorak, the only British which could attack the German market, but with yank parts made in Britain■■?.
Bedford tried with its TM which would been been called Opel Blitz.
In Belgian they could pinch Scania here, of course all did later as the quality of Scania went down and of course Always the same" Its the Drivers fault" no warranty.
Our top sellers through the years in the heavy class.

I may be in a minority of 1but for me Seddon Atkinson 401 with sun visor was the best looking truck ever made.
Hi, Folks, I think in there day Foden S40 best for comfort style warmth even with a Gardener ,only problem the dreaded tin worm Cheers Barry

Hope this one is good enough. ERF KV2 cab. I restored this motor and rallied it for a few years. Drivers moan about these old cabs but I liked it, the fact that top gear was placed away from your leg so it didn’t rub against your leg continuously once rolling was (I suppose) a consideration towards the driver !! if you ignore the fact it had a good heater !!!
One of my favourites was always the AEC Mammoth Major Mk 3 ‘Tin Front’. although exactly the same inside as the normal Mk 3 it was to become iconic in AEC design right up to the Ergo cab. The Mk 5 was also a silent revolution in cab design and still rates as one of the most tasteful cab designs ever. Not only did it look right it has become the blue print for modern cab design. A step in front of the wheel, very low windows for better visibility, gearbox further back so the gear stick didn’t constantly get in the way. The Mk 5 was copied so many times but it was one the first vehicles that changed lorry cab thinking, no more clambering up the wheels to gain access to the drivers seat !!!
Easy Answer…but unsure which of these 2 is better ■■
B’stard thing I can’t get the fotos on straight…sorry
I think a truck really needs a bonnet to look right so I’d put Classic Pete conventional at the top of the list and Scammell Commander.
KW Aerodyne as the best looking cab over. With the Foden 4500 and Bedford TM being two of the best looking Brit cab overs.

followed by the Series 1 F12 Volvo Globetrotter
And the Renault Magnum is starting to grow on me a bit now… give it another couple of decades and I think it’ll fit in just fine…
Did I mention the series 1 F12 Volvo Globetrotter■■?
Good truck… good memories…
