I have just picked up my Scottish Transport News mag where it says on the cover Truckfest Scotland “BEST EVER” 
I have to disagree the amount of trucks on show was down on previous years and the distinct lack of Truck dealers and where was the Truck+Driver stand? still at least my son had a great time 
Never been to one but might attend one if I have a spare 2 minutes but perhaps it wasn`t the quantity or quality of trucks that they are referring to but rather the amount of people like your son who created a better atmosphere and had a thoroughly good day or weekend.
