Leave our ned alone ,it will be that alter ego in his cab or is there two of them? that will the cause of the troubles you is reporting     If you’re lucking for some comadee like this Dublin girl is the dogs, varning contains de swearing mainly in Hindi :grimacing: :grimacing: :grimacing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZD7BKfLrY4o

Although probably isn’t the response that you anticipated , i get that, ok, but hopefully it’s better

Angus has another twin

Flecking fleckers hogging the middle lane.
I was expecting a voice to come from behind him saying “Go on Father, will you calm down and have a cup of tea, go on, go on, go on, etc”.

This guy is on his period

I agree with what he says about middle lane hoggers but it’s pointless getting so upset about it.

The bad driving in that video pales into insignificance compared to this

He has got a point, lane discipline on motorways is bloody disgraceful these days, turning 3 lane Mways into 2 lane, and in severe congestion you get the paradox of the ‘fast lane’ becoming the ‘slow lane’ and vice versa.

Then they spend millions on upgrading to 4 lane 'smart ’ m.ways, which becomes a complete waste of money when dicks (including many truckers) will not use the inside lane for whatever reason.

That is what happens when old style Traffic Cops are replaced by revenue raising cameras, the Motorway lane system becomes the complete cluster ■■■■ that it is today.

(Did find Tachograph’s Irish Gypsy vid quite funny tbh. )

I was up and down the M42 several times a day when they upgraded the hard shoulder. Misery while they were working on it, but when it opened I was able to cruise at 50 past all the numpties stuck in the other lanes. At the junctions, it was often quicker to come off and get back on.

These days most people have got used to it so you get four lanes of traffic - but it does move better than it used to.

Maybe these dicks like myself have almost run into the back of something and think that removing the hard shoulder is dangerous.

I was following a 7.5 tonner, with a reasonable distance, on the M1 going south near Luton on a bend. He just whipped out into the next lane with one click of his indicators at the last minute, faced with a broken down van.

He’s a star is that Ned, I’ve seen a fair few of his trucking videos and they always make me laugh .

Just as likely to happen on a dual carriageway tbh. The ONLY way to prevent an accident in this case is to not drive up the arse of the vehicle in front. I manage it ok.

Another pompous, up his own backside, holier than thou muppet…

It’s traffic, who gives a monkey’s who’s in what lane at what speed in what vehicle?

The sooner we adopt passing in any lane like they do in the US, the better.

best cop ever? the one in Livno Bosnia, who let me go after taking a whole £2 off me for ‘speedy speedy’

So you don’t think it’s bad enough now eh, cars undertaking at Mway junctions after joining, or them just sitting in your blindside area without a care in the world, …without it becoming permitted or regulatory.
Yeh ok if you are a proper driver who watches his mirrors, but…well you know what I was going to say.
Think you are living up to your username here bud.

It’s been the same all the years I been driving…

It is bad now I agree Robroy but, it’s always been bad.

Cars here, cars there, in the wrong lane, in yer blindspot, asleep in the middle lane, tailgating etc… it’s called traffic. I’m too busy concerntrating on my own position/distances to make lots of pointless comments on what others are doing. Just let 'em get on with it.
Let’s take the sliproad scenario whereby you can’t move out of lane1 safely and Mr BMW is right by your front bumper trying to get in. At the last minute they slam all on and give you the finger…only then to come out behind and show you just how fast that Beemer is by using kickdown and shooting off into the sunset. Why the f*** didn’t they do that on the sliproad when they were only 5 foot away from actually being in front of you? The reason…because we don’t pass on the inside.

I’ve not driven commercially in the US but, I’ve done thousands of miles in rental cars and although the traffic still backs up and they have more than their fair share of idiots, I can honestly say that the passing in any lane is easier.

turning right on a red light is another good idea we should adopt

I agree on all the bad points you are on about, but it is not always been so imo, there are definitely a lot more pricks on the road with the increase in traffic over the years.
It has also definitely got worse since Police presence decreased in favour of cameras.
So I think the answer is to actually Police it again, rather than just admit defeat that it is a balls up, and then go on to make it an even bigger balls up by making undertaking legal.
Stiffer fines and deterrents for middle lane hogging would be a start, things may fall into place if that was attempted to be sorted.
When I took my test it was drummed into us to keep left at all times possible, I get the impression they are not telling learner truck drivers that nowadays, as a new phenomenon of trucks hogging middle lane seems to be developing also.

I don’t see passing on the inside as defeat…

I see it as progress. The laws we drive to were cast in stone decades ago and some of them aren’t really practicle any more. The Police said they were gonna crack down hard on tailgaters and middle lane only jockeys. I can’t say I’ve seen any improvement, it still looks the same to me as it always did.

We now have 4 and 5 lane motorways, I’m constantly passed on the inside on many of those sections by cars and lorries, it doesn’t bother me at all.

I can only speak for myself but, I couldn’t give a monkeys who passes me on the inside, who’s fast asleep in the middle lane or, who’s driving two feet off my trailers bumper.

We need more police! End of argument…

I’d like to see the cockwomble in an artic that was driving down the outside lane of the M3 roadworks today lose their licence! :imp:
They must have passed at least 5 or 6 massive yellow signs saying narrow lanes denoting that the outside lane was limited to vehicles of 6’6" or less, whilst those HUGE signs passed by their O/S mirror by inches. :open_mouth:

HTF do these idiots even get a licence, and no wonder the general public hate us… :unamused:
