Not worked for them personally but about 15 years ago when I was on chemical tankers I’d spend a fair bit of time with their drivers when washing out etc and the impression I got was that it was a great job all around.
IMO the fact that they trundle around at 50mph and never seem to be in a mad dash speaks volumes about the Co.
I know a guy that works out of their Antwerp depot. He’s worked there years. Never seen the guy in a hurry.
i currently work for bertschi,
its a decent job to be honest,the work is fairly easy your never really pushed and incredibly the planning is generally very good.
wagons are well looked after and well maintained.
bertschi do like rules and procedures,they dont like infringements of any kind even a wtd will get you a bit of talking to
like i say overall its a pretty good job but if you struggle to follow rules etc its probably not the job for you
