And I’m not talking of those who teach you how to apply your blusher whilst getting eyed up in the bogs at Newport Pagnell services…
I got thinking the other night, dangerous I know. With the fact so many drivers are hell bent on not doing/ are against the implementation the driver cpc I wonder if there are any driver cpc providers who could/would bend the rules. Basically take the blokes cash say yes he was here and sat down for the day we’ll now upload him his hours onto the system.
Is there any ‘safeguards’ in place to prevent this from happening?
If not, Limeyphil I’ll go 65/35 with you on putting on a bent course, I’ll take the 65 for the use of my enterprising mind, pretty fair split I reckon
Edited, as I’ve the arithmetic abilities of a mongoose
Funny thing that, a mate of mine and me were talking about the same thing just the other day, who knows if whoever has actually done the training once the papers are signed/money changed hands, after all its just another paper pushing exercise in the new age industry of teaching grannies how to ■■■■ eggs.
Keep me posted on your new enterprise

Hope your going to get a decent calculator to work the fees out with, but then it is a bent course

I’ll blame that on the bud I’ve been consuming this afternoon, feel like a right ■■■■■■■ moron now
i believe there a form for the trainee to fill in to say that there were happy with the course and i would think you would have to sign the said form and in doing so if the course was a sham and therefore you are privy to it you would be as much in trouble as the provider you would loose you licence and in turn loose your job the driver cpc would be classed as a forgery
Regulation 13 makes it an offence for a person to forge or make false statements with respect to
any document which evidences CPC entitlement or a training exemption. Such an offence is
punishable on summary conviction with a fine up to the statutory maximum or on indictment to up
to two years imprisonment or a fine or both.
and why would you pay some one for a fiddle you would be the one out of pocket in long term as you no your driving illegal and in doing that you could face imprisonment

Because it costs me between £150 and almost £300 to take a week off work.
Because if you’re an experienced driver, it’s a waste of time. I’ve been given the nudge, nudge, wink, wink and I still can’t be arsed handing over the brown envelope till 2014 or whenever it is.
I’m from the school of Paranoia and Sod’s Law and even i’d be happy doing the dodge as there’s no way you’d get rumbled. I wouldn’t be that surprised if the authorities weren’t that arsed even if they knew this was going on.
The whole scheme was just to keep someone in a job and get more browny points for someone’s department, which is fine in the good times when firms and drivers can afford to ■■■■■ money up the wall but in a recesion were everyone is skint, this is just another red tape burden on the industry and taxpayer.
look at this way say a provider does do it and he gets court any one that took a course that paid and sat there would loose the 7m hours or what ever you done if there deem all the training was bent so someone that does it is in fact taking your go earn money and pocketing it if it was you you would not be happy if you paid for something and you did not get what you paid for
IMHO the first one to do it will be made an example off and all the ones that took the CPC regard whether you did it wrong would loose your licence for knowingly committing fraud, if that’s the price you want to take that your choice
apparantly if you put a magnet in your pocket all the children stored for future procreation have have all the info stored and can drive trucks before they are born thus saving thousands so no need to attend a seven hour course
Well after my first “Hazchem” course they told me within a few months the ADR and Hazchem qualification would be built into your driving licence, with a photograph and an instant link to Swansea at a roadside check.
I do have a photograph on my card licence, another one on my digi card, 17 credit cards, a phone top up, AA membership, Clubcard, Staples card, Nectar Card, National Health card, you know those fairy wallets on chains? er!
I am going to have a look on Ebay, there is a bloke called Vaclev with an online print shop
