If your able to zoom in on the photo you may see the red crosses closing the lanes . So I was out in lane 4 legitimately .

Sure I can recall instances of impending prosecution after people have posted films of their lawbreaking and rightly so, it just encourages the MORE responsible amongst us not to do the same

As for possibly doing something a little naughty on the road where safety and the convenience of others is in no way compromised then I see no problem with that either

You would have to speak to that driver about that, I was either in the jump seat. or on the bunk taking photos to make it look like the driver was taking them to get folk foaming at the mouth on here.

Maybe, just maybe ‘someone’ is already doing that, not weekly but often.
Joking aside, today I have seen many more vehicles than usual stopped on the hard shoulder by unmarked police cars so they are still out there.
Must admit I did witness quite a bit of anarchy last night on the M1. Trucks using lane 3, trucks ignoring the 50 limit and trucks rolling downhill at 70 mph.
Although that was the M1 over here so I can’t really blame the riots in London.

It was a lot like that over here. We also saw an artic on the M1, while we were heading north, using the southbound contraflow lane through the roadworks between 13 and 10, the one with the width resriction.
OK it’s illegal but I will confess that at 3.00 am on an empty m’way I have taken the “racing line” through a gentle curve, just for the pleasure of doing something wrong.
