This is the way of it in Wales. There are some there who fit the bill and would go for it. I actually know one 
There’s a cracker going up in Grangemouth if anyone’s interested. Class 1 tankers, shifting sludge, all sorts of ■■■■■■ hours (pardon the pun)… £8-9/hr… umbrella. It’s non-ADR though, so i guess that makes it ok.
Strangely, the job has been advertised daily for months on end. Definitely must be a driver shortage
