Bells on Sunday

BELLS ON SUNDAY Radio 4
its been bugging me for yonks so I have to speak out
On BOS they announce that theres X number bells cast by X foundry in some place the heaviest is so many cwt. and the tune is going to be ABC
so the clanging starts clang clang bloody clang,
allegedly is a different noise from last week but all I hear is CLANG CLANG CLANG

PS,may the loud go with you

I didn’t know pubs still open on Sunday morning,are you in a " lock in " ?

Sounds like your choice of <whatever you drank? last night> had the desired effect.
In the words of a brilliant Irish comedian from the seventies/eighties “May your God go with you.” 'cos you’ve left the rest of us behind and I doubt there’s a map in existence to help you…

I’d like to be the first one to congratulate you Hitch on outlasting all your mates who took part in last nights drinkathon. You Sir are a legend!

I prefer Glenmorangie on sunday but will run to Grouse if nothing else avilable , as for Bells , look closely at your wireless it has an off switch

I’m a grouse man myself, with just a touch of water.

Bruce the bells Willis in the Sixth Sense " I can see dead people and hear bells ".

Dave Allen was the comedian with that punchline. Remember watching with my dad.
