To be honest, Dasse, Bovy, Pipe, FN and what comes are not my marques
but I appreciate the efforts of hard working men, technicians, engineers
and financing people to start an automotive business.
Same in Holland, DAF is the most known, but don’t forget FTF, GINAF, AS,
Terberg, Hogra, GTS, Jumbo and so on…
By the way, we didn’t talk about trailers yet, for which Willems also is known, also
as TTA, RAY, Varmo, EKW…and don’t forget the tipper-industry, RG, EFA and…
Hey, there you have a point, and after war more and more did for cabs, trailers and bodies.
And with the surplus I think it wasn’t interesting to build trucks again, some did most in the
Netherlands. DAF had it already hard to survive, and was not the smallest.
