The only photo I know of SDS. This lorry was of haulier Victor De Rooster of Mechelen (red with yellow lettering) later the company moved to Heffen and had a fleet of Scania Vabis.

@Mandator, thank you for ‘translating’ the companyname of the operator, it was not very clear for me.

Herewith again some input, however not very much is known from this marque and the meaning of SDS.

SDS was located in the north-eastern part of Antwerp, so called Merksem or in French Merxem.
They installed engines from Hercules (petrol type JXC and JXD) and Gardner (diesel type 4HL, 5HL and 6HL)
both intended for trucks and busses. World War II caused discontinuation of production.

A SDS 7.000kgs truck, low chassis, gardner 5HL, hence the type: SDS 7TSD5,
the tractors had Tr and Hercules-engine E of essence (French for petrol).
