It may be the Northerners have lost their way…? Dont like being Irish, Dont want to be English… A loss of identity… Anyway ,with English plates make your visit brief…As Karl says , just a phone call will do…

Without getting into a political debate heres a wide variety of Nationalists , Republicans, Unionists and Loyalists, theres a difference between them all apart from the obvious!!

You also don’t park beside a council estate in England, or within a 20 mile radius of Liverpool

Y would that be then ? Whats Liverpool got to do with it apart from the fact that the vast majority are Irish descendants ?

It was purely an observation from 16 years travelling to England several times a week. From memory, the only theft/damage to my truck has been while parked around Liverpool area. I must have had about 8 bad incidents. The last one resulted in the drivers door being completely wrecked when someone tried to drill the lock out, then proceeded to try and wedge the door open with a crow bar. When this failed they just smashed the window, but were disturbed before they got in. I then spent the next day driving with no window because the boss would not repair it before I got home. :imp: Barring a couple of minor curtain slashings I have never had any problems anywhere else.

Them few problems aside, I absolutely love travelling to Britain. I usually do 3 trips a week and still enjoy it and get virtually no hassle.

I never posted to start a riot or upset anyone. I was merely pointing out that things have changed considerably over here for the better.

The last time I left Belfast docks for Stranraer on the ferry . An incoming ferry had a load of footy fans on it & one car had some mafia types in it. Those are the vandals I am talking about…UFF South East Antrim hardline leader shot in a taxi leaving the Belfast docks after he returned from a Rangers/Celtic match in Glasgow. …

Harry,
You’ll be very interested to know that the “unwanted scumbags” that carried out those murders now live in BOLTON and TROON after they got kicked out :open_mouth: :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation:

JD 123,
agree with you posts 120%.

I didn’t realize when I posted, that Karl is “just a kid”

The fact that he is, makes his post content all the more sad & disturbing.

So, I’ll retract my previous comment.

May I ask when you had your bother ? Obviously you were not in the vehicle at the time due to the noise of the drill ? Were you parked near the docks ? or in the docks themselves ? Do you not park near McBurney yard in Sandhills lane, where the security will be better ? Its not just Liverpool where crime is bad, its all over, esp Birmingham.

Big Truck Lovely!!!
