Ok , some may know that there has been issues surrounding my previous manager who is now the area manager, well today was something I didn’t expect , I picked up some stuff from one of our yards to take to another yard, he was at the first yard, i loaded & left , i then spotted his car behind me a distance , easy to spot due to the knobs private plate , thought nothing of it at this stage until I turned off then drove a bit & spotted him again , unbeknown to him I was making a delivery between yards , I turned in to an industrial estate & whipped around the block where I came face to face with him, although he was up the road a bit, he wasn’t expecting that & quickly turned round and raced off, I done my drop & phoned my manager , who phoned him , he denied any knowledge of it! …
As the road I went down was a dead end & only for the industrial estate he had no reason to be there unless he was following me , I think he thought he was going to catch me upto something …

Every isolated incident you are having needs to be logged down so you can build up a profile of whats going on. Sooner or later this is gonna end up in the office so you ll needs dates, times and accounts of incident to hand. One or two on here have told you to move on but imo why should you?, this sounds like bullying to me. Whatever he throws at you try accept while your profile builds and then take it higher. It wont hurt also to try contact the old driver (thats if im not mixing you up with another poster) as he may be usefull to your case. Good luck.

once thought I was being followed, flagged down the local plod and he pulled the fellah, turned out it was security trying to catch me out (I was union rep at the time), he got reamed out and almost lost his job because he had been seen!

I once had a car following me on nights at 4am, pure red Focus Sport. After a few minutes and a couple of dodgy moves on their part I turned and pulled into the local police HQ, turned out it was two undercovers in a plain car.

Joking aside, nobody should be subject to this sort of behaviour from any boss, there are appropriate and proportionate procedures they should follow if they think an employee is taking the mick.
Be sure to keep accurate and where possible evidenced records of what sounds like a clear case of bullying. Then if you end up finding yourself with no choice but to leave the company, you will be on solid ground when it comes to the constructive dismissal case you take out against them.
Stop and take a picture or a video on your phone.
He can’t make a complaint about that without admitting he was there and you get your evidence either way.
