forget didcots drivers lounge, i was there yesterday, in some dingy room with a couple of vending machines, he must have got lost and ended up in the tesco employees lounge. where is this secret snodland canteen, i went there after didcot and the goods in room is barely bigger than a broom cupboard with seating for about 5 people to wait the 2 hours to be tipped, if they can get a on a bay because some the tosco lot like to dump the trailers and units opposite making it ten times worse trying to squeeze between a stobbie and a ■■■■■■■ truck.
All Tesco Dc’s and stores have a decent staff subsidised canteen, Snodland is a wincanton operated site, the goods in Drivers room is another story and usually a horror show. You could always wonder down to the staff canteen and speak to a Tesco Driver, see if he would lend you his Tesco card (you would have to give him the cash so he could top up his card) all Tesco Dc’s and stores operate on a debit card system that you top up as and when required. The hot drinks from the vending machines are free with this card and you are unable to get a drink without it, the problem is leaving the Driver waiting room and not knowing when your done. most Tesco Drivers are happy to help, (apart from Peterborough Dc as they are just miserable and have 12 fingers

the snodland canteen is used as an alternate drivers waiting area and has a tannoy to call your bay number when tipped.canteen also takes cash,not card as most other tescos. only issue is that its at the other end of the warehouse on the 1st floor.
