I’m trying to find old photos of Beatwaste tankers from the 1970’s, my mates father drove for them and I remember going out on the road when on school holidays with him (and still remember to this day his radio handle!). I’m trying to find old photos of such wagons and wonder if anyone here can help.
The reason - my mates dad is now into his late 70’s and I want to surprise him with a photo on a special occasion if possible.
I recall his tanker was collecting a lost of slurry and similar and we used to go to Thorntons toffee factory a lot!
Hope someone can help.
Thanks

Does anyone remember Beatwaste Tip at Gilberdyke, it started to be used in the early 70’s
It is becoming a little annoying for the local residents and they are stamping their feet now.
