I worked for agency for about 8 months and all in all was really good. BUT there was numerous occasions where they sent me to places where i was not covered by the companys insurance, AGE 25 or 2 years exp! ONLY when i got there and off my own back asked about insurancy policy have i found out (couple of companys still asked me to drive). Be careful if your going somewhere new cause agencys just want a driver there, in my opinion always ask the policy!!
Surely if you do have a prang then its the company and agency at fault for screwing it up right?
Well i had this discussion with a transport manager and he said that i would get done and have to pay bills, sure thered be some come back for them though
all that work, studying, waiting, and expense to get your licence and they treat it like sh@t. greedy bstards,

That’s BS . sorry but the agency send you the company have a duty to check your licence and they should know if your covered or not. It’s not up to you to be checking these things.
What you gonna do at every job you roll up to, say " can I see your motor insurance policy please because I might not be covered" 
Well thats exactly what i did, bar seeing the physical policy, half of places you go they just photo copy it and stick it in folder they dont proof read it

This day and age if there was a minimum age for insurance cover it would be brought to the attention of the front desk who check your licences, and would be boldy written on your agency declaration sheet for you to countersign as company policy.
The agency and company who allow you drive their lorry uninsured are heading for the worlds biggest claim and prosecution should a driver under their direction be found to be uninsured and have a serious accident especially a fatal, plod, VOSA (whatever they might be called this week) CPS and every no win no fee parasite lawyer within a hundred miles would descend like locusts, bosses and TM’s paying for the rest of their days.
