Everybody on here is rooting for her Chris, keep positive thoughts mate.
Forgot about this…
It’s been a long couple of months where we have seemed to have done a lot of waiting for one reason or another and frustratingly everything seems to hold back treating the cancer.
We went for a scan about a month ago and it showed there was a abbcess in Angelas liver so they put her on anti biotics to treat it then after a few days she seemed to get worse having flu like symptoms which we were told to see a doc if it happened because it would be more serious for Angelas health given her condition so we went to the docs and they referred her to the hospital which resulted in being admitted for a week because the abbcess had become bigger so it needed draining.
She left hospital with a drain attached so we have to go back on soon for them to do another scan to check if the abbcess has gone which will hopefully be Friday,we are just awaiting a phone call.
All the above has impacted on treatment going forward because in our bodies the white blood cells fight infections, but at the same time chemotherapy kills white blood cells so they can’t risk starting any treatment until they are sure the abbcess and infection are gone as it would leave Angela very vulnerable health wise, but hopefully we will be seeing the oncologist next week providing they are happy with her blood test results and scan results.
As said its been quite a frustrating couple of months where it seems not much has happened in terms of treating Angela due to the infection she picked up,but hopefully we will be back on track soon.
Sounds like she’s still having a rough time of it mate.
All she can do, is do as the Dr.s tell her,
Hope you get better news on Fri so she can carry on with her treatment and get better.
Followed this thread quietly but feel for you mate, stay positive and all the best wishes from me an mine to you all.
God bless you and all your family
Only just saw this and Chris I do feel for you. But there is always hope no matter what. I am not a gospel greedy person but I do pray and I will add your wife yourself and your son to my ever growing prayer list. God bless you all and look after you. Nothing else I can say.
First time I’ve seen this thread.
I cant begin to imagine the torment the two of you are enduring at the moment. I can only wish and hope for the best for Angela and you.
Cheers guys, been for the scan today and they said hopefully all being well they will take the drain out on Monday as it seems to have done its job apart from a small area that they say should be gone by Monday.
Glad you have got some relatively good news. How are you and your son coping?
Well yesterday was not a good day,Angela had a scan 3 weeks ago and yesterday we went for the results which has absolutely devastated us…Angelas cancer has come back and spread to her lungs, stomach and liver, surgery is not an option and she will restart chemotherapy next week to try and slow it down, there is no cure.
Life can so be ■■■■■■■ cruel our 9 year old son should not have to deal with this.

My dear mother had this exact same cancer. My wife’s sister is a homeopathic doctor in Brazil. She gave this recipie and the tumor shrank quickly substantially, but mother stopped taking it, and went to radiation therapy. etc… that didn’t help, believe me.
So here is the recipie. 50 % alo vera and 50% pure honey (prefer Manuka) put in a blender, and take a tablespoon in the morning and 1 at night.
Do this this blending process out of sunlight I know honey is sugar and she should avoid sugar, but the tumor shrank, quite a bit. Maybe if we carried on she would be here today.
BTW I bought the aloe vera plan from the garden centre. Just slice of one of the stems. Make sure it’s 50/50 aloe vera and pure honey.
Regards & a Prayer

Bloody hell Chris It’s probably of very little comfort to you, but I believe I can speak for TNUK and us virtual friends on here when I wish you all the best mate.
Keep fighting, don’t ever give up.
So sorry it’s come back, cancer can just sod off.
I’m so sorry to hear your bad news. I’ve never been through anything like this myself with someone so close. I hope you are able as a family to make the most of whatever time might be left to you. My very best wishes to you all.
