Problem is a lot of it will depend on the quality of the tyre too. With so many companies going for long life over performance any advantage this system gives is taken away by the accountants who purchase tyres

Will it stop the load quicker too? Does it consider that all the gadgets in the world can’t compensate for the poor standards of driving seen these days?
I think the money would be better spent on regular/remedial driver training and education because not every load or order is required asap!
Although you wouldn’t think so while out there!
I’d rather leave it to the truck manufacturers to develop this kind of braking system instead of some kid at university, Volvo & Mercedes already have.

I hear they introduced some new fangled “CPC”. Could they use that to acheive the same goal?

Its probably the same ‘kid’ who graduates then gets offered a job at the said manufacturers…
They probably look at the sh*te we write on her and think we can better them. Kids today don’t no when to stop

The future is in Cambridge, didn’t you read the sign on the brick building going west on the A14? “you are leaving the future”, Just about everything that’s anything originated there!

Where do you think the manufacturers get their products developed? Based on your posts I guess you didn’t get into Cambridge.
Good, high time the next step in brake evolution was taken, present lorry anti skid systems don’t respond or re-apply the brakes quickly enough once they have responded compared with cars.

I believe that the ‘new fangled drivers cpc’ was considered a massive fail and achieved little or nothing in respect of driver standards? Or am I wrong in that respect?
Nobody can deny that driving standards have on the whole and continue to deteriorate.
Just an opinion.

I wont deny that statement of fact
The CPC wasn’t a fail, it has achieved its purpose, that being to rake more money from the hard pressed drivers, and to give the DVSA or whatever they are calling themselves this month, another stick with which to beat us with
Driving standards wont improve until the full driving licence, that being the entitlement to drive a car or any other vehicle stated, is time limited, and requiring off another test to extend it, say every 10 years
Any development in braking systems must be a good idea, regardless as to whether its developed by a University or Vehicle manufacturer, or truth be told together by both.
