Winseer:
‘…they can’t blame Gordon Brown anymore now they’ve been in office over two years and got absolutely nowhere…!’
WHAT
You’re not really suggesting that we forgive ‘Mr No-More-Boom-and-Bust’ for applying his weirdness upon the British economy and being Bliar’s henchman because he’s been out of the news for a bit
Winseer:
‘…I wasn’t getting the impression that the public are in the mood for more labour, not whilst this current joke government manages to stay in power despite all the moaning…!’
I’m not in any mood for leaking another penny to the unelected in Belgium, while surely the ‘…joke…’ is the Lib/Lab/Con conspiring to fall over themselves to bung Brussels £48million per day
If everyone agrees with UKIP/BNP policy statements, then how come voters always go back to "the regular crook lib/lab/flab when election day comes?
There’s 70 million people in this country, and it seems 57 million of them 15 years ago were daft enough to let the other 13 million in! Once here, they’re either working, depriving another Brit of a job, or not working and depriving working brits of collected taxes paid out in benefits. No one would have objected IF the immigration was done the same as countries like Australia, where you have to be qualified in a trade they actually WANT to get in. We’d have a few Polish plumbers, South African vets, German engineers, and there’d STILL be enough illegals from the rogue states of the world to build a few extra prisons around the country, and provide work for Balkan prison guards, guaranteed to give the inmates a hard time!
I reckon Cleggy has been telling Cameron how the streets of Brussels are paved with expenses and high pay packets for doing nothing but resisting calls for a smaller eurogovernment and any chance of a referendum in this country.
If we actually left the EU, but continued trading with it, we’d be the same as Switzerland.
Oh golly! Imagine being that poor!

There are a number of eurosceptics in the Tory back benches, but oddly we only ever seem to hear about the few “europhiles” instead.
Here’s the leader of the Flab party in case anyone’s forgotton the biggest Europhile of all, and the trouble caused by him still having a big hat to wear.

My problem with the UKIP politicians is I don’t trust them to do a good job either. Nigel Farage reminds me of something between Nicholas Parsons and an availability car.com salesman who probably got a few extra sympathy votes after his plane crash.
His links to extreme groups like the EFD (Homophobic Party) and the other right wing extremists who toiter on the edge of fascism worry me.
Some of the policies of the member parties are not anything I want anything to do with.
A very random selection of ideologists.
That’s my point - come election day, we’ll end up voting for the usual “waste your money” parties, because they are the devil we know.
It’s easier to support a crook than someone who actually scares people apparently.
If we look back through history, those leaders with the reputation of having been “great” tended to be nasty pieces of work who could easily have been judged badly in their own lifetimes - IF events they handled well had not elevated them to superstar status.
We don’t think of Drake as a pirate, Churchill as a warmonger, or even Queen Victoria as the “Empress Ming” do we?
(Ask a Spaniard, German, or Indian respectively, and you might get a different perspective!)
Back to the original topic, the Daily Mirror and at least one of the truck mags has done a far better job than this programme managed.
The difference is that the mag and the paper are both private enterprises, while the beeb is funded by the licence payer…once they’ve got funding it doesn’t really matter to them what the quality of the output is.
Winseer:

Tribal loyalty and the BBC’s, pro-EU, left wing and inherent ultra-liberal scamming (read ‘Dreamland’)reporting bias have a lot to answer for.

But EFD (who?) are not British, nor are their ugly, extremist, racist tendencies endorsed here: Maybe you’d be better worrying about cast-iron ‘…links…’ where the present lot’s less than snow-white but often legislated foreign/home/trade/fiscal/migration policies have got us
Don’t be scammed by those suggesting that single issue politics don’t have a role when the undemocratic infiltration of Brussels scams too much unwanted influence upon too many strands of UK life

Chaired & promoted by Nigel Farage, the leader of UKIP and has nine other UKIP members on its membership list
Norway. Remember Brevik
Allegations of homophobia have dogged the EFD group, with Nikki Sinclaire having won a case in the UK employment Tribunal against UKIP, in which EFD co-president Nigel Farage was named as a co-respondent. She had previously left the EFD because of the homophobic comments of the Lega Nord.
In July 2012 a Lega Nord parliamentarian stated that “Gays are ill and perverted and need a cure. They should not walk in the street in the daylight.” It was statements like this that brought the National Socialist German Workers to the forefront of policy makers.
In March 2011, MEP Anna Rosbach left the EFD, and in turn joined the European Conservatives and Reformists group as an independent.
It was joined by Frank Vanhecke in November 2011, after Vanhecke left Vlaams Belang. It was joined by Magdi Allam in December 2011, when Allam defected from the Union of Christian and Centre Democrats in the EPP group. The four MEPs from United Poland defected from the European Conservatives and Reformists on 26 December 2011, taking the group’s numbers to 33. In March 2012 Roger Helmer who was elected as a UK Conservative Party MEP and previously sat with the European Conservatives and Reformists group, defected to UKIP and the EFD bringing the group’s numbers to 34.
In March 2010 it was announced that MEP Nikki Sinclaire had had the UKIP whip withdrawn. Sinclaire had refused to join the EFD on the grounds that it was a grouping with “extreme views” and consequently had not sat with her UKIP colleagues in the European parliament. In June 2010 MEP Mike Nattrass also left the EFD, albeit on other grounds than Sinclaire, stating that “I don’t share the same principles of some of the Group, on balance, the majority of the Group want to stay in the EU and I’ve always believed that we should leave.” In March 2011 MEP Trevor Colman left the EFD, allegedly due to an “unresolved dispute over financial and staffing issues.” However both Coleman and Nattrass continue to represent UKIP as Non-Inscrits. On 24 May 2011, David Campbell Bannerman defected to the Conservatives, and the ECR.

Ah, that’ll be the scam-busting and very broad ‘Europe of Freedom and Democracy’ group, an accountable, legal and respectful Eurosceptic political coalition representing many rational views from many legitimate nations and formed in 2009.
Unlike the scourge of British freedom, I’ve learned that EDF is both independent and democratic (unlike the alternative of being undemocratically steered by failed, vastly overpaid and faceless ‘Yes’ people such as Kinnock, President van Rumpy and Baroness Whats-her-face?). I doubt you’ll learn much of that from the BBC
What is it with you ultra-liberal types gagging to scare anyone unwilling to fawn with the scammer’s united loathing of democratic opposition
Wheel Nut:

So what
Jesus associated with whores & thieves and disliked scams like no-one else before or since
Besides, Brevik is now rightly jailed - although how long before Brussels ironically declares his incarceration and harsh conditions illegal under some spurious committee’s flimsy, tree-huggy diktat

**Keith the diktat I guess you are referring for is likely to come from Strasbourg and it is in France. And as at time time of posting the president of the said court is an Englishman.
And you are right. I wont learn much from the BBC, because I use other news media to get a balanced view, although I turn my nose up at divine voices and bullying.

Well said that man!
The establishment of the day even manipulated the masses in rubber stamping the little coup the Sanhedrin had in store for Christ as well…
Perhaps the morale of the story here is that rank-and-file scumbags are not beyond redemption, whilst ivory tower crooks are WAY beyond it!
Don’t we have certain newspaper folk even now considering themselves above and beyond the law?
You don’t “protest” when charged with a serious crime - you STFU, keep a low profile, and prepare your best defence!

Of course, being such a weighty & bloated bunch of scammers masquerading as an ‘organisation’ [sic], the President of the European Union (or President of Europe) could be a reference to any of:
President of the European Council - the grey faced individual that you know I meant (since 1 December 2009, Herman Van Rompuy)
President of the European Commission (since 22 November 2004, José Manuel Barroso)
Presidency of the Council of the European Union (since 1 July 2012, Cyprus)
President of the European Parliament (since 17 January 2012, Martin Schulz)
Other than your attempt to wriggle, who made mention (or cares about) any ‘…said court…’

I got the impression you thought that Brevik would be released by some kind of court. I imagine you meant court when you mention, ironically declares his incarceration and harsh conditions illegal.
So naturally the court I thought of was one that specialises in human rights, and it is that French court that now has an English man as president.
The thread has gone way off topic now so I shall retire from posting for now.

As a patriot, for me the bottom line is for the nation to competently address our needs from within our shores.
As Harry suggests:
Harry Monk:
‘…It really is time this whole industry was regulated, it seems there are hundreds if not thousands of people who have just been ripped off…’
So, do we do it ourselves with rules & requirements, etc in simple English, or does the one-size-fits-all, DCPC clap-trap that is being evidently (and doctrinally?) abused by entrepreneurs/sharks in the training ‘industry’ illustrate that federalisation encourages ‘if you can’t make money from it, teach it’?
