Baxters, Fochabers

Who do they think they are?

Turned up at 8.30am for 11.00am tip; admitted they had nothing booked in till 9.00am. Had only 10 pallets for them but told me to come back at 11.

Sodding bandits!!

Had similar at a coldstore in Aberdeen a few weeks back. Turned up at 11.15am with 2 plts of frozen fish. Admittedly it did say that it was booked at 1pm on my manifest, but it was my last drop. He wouldn’t take it till the book in time even though there was nobody else in tipping or loading at that point. Said he was too busy even though it didn’t look like it to me. While I’m waiting patiently for my time, various other deliveries turned up which he took no bother. Couldn’t even argue with the guy cos I was early, just had to bite my tongue [emoji35]

A friend of mine arrived at a company in Wrexham 2 hours before booking time.
The security guy say’s to him your not booked in until 1300hrs, bearing in mind
our company is the only one to unload into that silo.
My mate said he was told to arrive early, the guy said you still have to wait.
At 1300 hrs the guy comes and let’s my mate know he can come in so he said sorry i am on a 45 min break
until 13-45 hrs. The security guy flips out saying you must go in and deliver.
In the meantime the production manager wants to know why the driver has not tipped my mate told the manager about
the security guy being a little hitler and that he arrived over 2 hours ago.
The security guy was dismissed after a couple of weeks because it cost the company thousands in lost production
they had to shut down the machine no product available.

That reminds me of that comedy series in the seventies…’ Please Sir’ … and that old guy in standard uniform and medals… Derick Guyler… whatever; a school caretaker or something.
