Bath truck ban,long way round soon

Locals and council members want a ban on Cleveland Bridge,and HGV traffic to go via Westbury to join the M4.The Wiltshire Times ran a story today,showing a picture with some folks with nothing better to do,than get their photo in the paper,with a banner,which a 3 year old child must have drawn.

To view your comments on extra fuel use to go miles on a detour,the use of sat navs by foreign drivers that will still use the Bath route,and why Westbury, has had Baths problems dumped or shifted to their area.,when the government turned down a new bypass,years ago.

T C,reading your headline,i thought that you was going to say that truckers were banned from taking a bath ?

Looking @ some of them out there,i don’t think that they bother taking one ! but thats another story…

I feel sorry for the westbury locals because that will push a lot more trucks through the town and its not that wide is it .
