Bath Emission Zone

I, along with the rest of my squadron were granted the freedom of Bath back in the 80’s. I’m aware that grants me the right to drive my sheep over the bridge, but does it also grant me the right to drive my lorry over the same bridge?

What about a lorry full of sheep?

Bristol City Council, when asked about the specifics of the new clean air zone here, point you to that same website and say “We’ll be the same as Birmingham”, not Bath next door!!

The residents of Bath were asked what kind of clean air zone they would like, and they chose one that penalised commercial vehicles, buses and coaches while allowing them to retain the old banger that nanny drives the kids to school in, Daddy’s classic E-Type and the Range Rover that they pop out to Waitrose in.
It will all be super!
